Virginia

In Cash 5 players choose five numbers between one and 34. Players can play up to five times on one play slip. 25 cents, 50 cents or $1 can be wagered on each set of numbers. Each ticket must total at least $1. Players win differing amounts of money based on their initial bet.

When playing Pick 4 players choose a four-digit number between 0000 and 9999. They can bet 50 cents or $1 per play. Players can choose between playing Exact Order, Any Order or 50/50. When a player chooses 50/50 half of the $1 play goes to Exact Order and half goes to Any Order. In order to win the $5,000 top prize players must bet $1 and choose Exact Order. Pick 4 drawings are held twice daily. Pick 3 is similar to Pick 4, although players choose three-digit numbers and the top prize is $500. Players can also play to match two out of the three numbers in a certain order.

West Virginia

West Virginia offers Daily 4 and Daily 3, which are similar to Pick 4 and Pick 3 in Virginia.

Cash 25 features drawings four days a week. Each game costs $1 and players can play up to five times on one slip. Players choose six numbers and if they match all six, they win $25,000. Players can also win cash for matching three, four or five numbers.

In Keno Bonus players can bet between $1 and $20. They can also play from one up to ten numbers between one and 80 per drawing. The cost of the game is the number of drawings the player chooses multiplied by the bet. The maximum charge per ticket is $100. If players choose the “Bonus” option the cost of the ticket doubles and players have a chance to win larger prizes. Players win prizes for matching numbers.

District of Columbia

DC Lucky Numbers is similar to Pick 3 in Virginia and DC-4 is similar to Pick 4. D.C. Keno is similar to Keno Bonus in West Virginia. Rather than a Bonus option, there is a Keno Spin option that can increase winnings up to ten times.

Hot 5 requires players to select five numbers between one and 33. Each game costs $1. If players match all five numbers they win the $25,000 jackpot. There are also prizes for those who match two, three or four numbers.

In Quick Cash players get three plays for $1. Players select six numbers between one and 39 for each play. Because Quick Cash tickets cannot be canceled, players should check their numbers carefully. Players who match all six numbers win $250,000. Those who match five numbers win $1,000, and those who match four numbers receive $10.
