HotTrax allows players to bet on car racing. Players select a car and whether it will finish in first, second or third place. Or they then choose the top two or three cars and indicate whether they want to bet on them to finish in an exact order or any order. Finally, if players want they can indicate where all of the ten cars in the race will finish. No matter which option players choose, they must decide how much they want to wager and the number of races for which they want to wager.

Wild Money is Rhode Island’s newest jackpot game. To play, players select five numbers between one and 35. Matching all five allows them to win the jackpot. After the five numbers are drawn, an EXTRA ball is drawn from the remaining numbers. This allows players to win secondary prizes. Drawings take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and the cost is $1 per play.

Keno and Keno Plus drawings take place every four minutes. Players can choose how many numbers they want to play and how much they want to bet.

Massachusetts

In Massachusetts players can buy season tickets for Mega Millions, Mass Cash or Megabucks.

Cash Winfall is similar to Rhode Island’s Wild Money, but without the EXTRA ball: Players simply chose six numbers between one and 46. Drawings take place on Monday and Thursday. The minimum jackpot is $500,000. Once the jackpot hits $2 million the prize money filters down and cash prizes for lesser matches increase. Wagers cost $2. Players also select five numbers (between one and 35) in Mass Cash. Mass Cash drawings take place on Tuesday and Friday.

In Megabucks players choose six numbers between one and 42. The minimum jackpot is $400,000.

Massachusetts also has Keno, but players can select up to 12 numbers instead of the usual 10. This allows for larger-than-average winnings (there are 9,366,819 possible combinations). There is also Daily Numbers, which allows players to select four numbers, how they want to play and how much they want to bet.
