In Pick 6 Lotto the jackpot starts at $2 million and rolls over until someone wins. To play, players choose six numbers between one and 49. There are cash prizes for those who match three, four, five or six numbers. Each play costs $1. Those who match all six numbers and win the jackpot can choose between annual installments and one lump sum for their prize money.
Drawings in Jersey Cash 5 take place five days a week. If no one wins the daily top prize it rolls over so that the jackpot is larger the next day. In order to play players choose five numbers between one and 40. Each play costs $1. Players win cash prizes for matching three, four and five numbers.
Pick-4 drawings take place twice a day; at midday and at night. Players choose a four-digit number between 0000 and 9999. Pick-4 bets cost 50 cents and players can try to win in a number of different ways. They can choose to play “straight,” (the numbers must match in order) “boxed” (numbers in any order) or a variety of other ways. Winnings depend on style of play. Pick-3 is similar, except players choose three numbers.
New York Lotto
New York Lotto requires players to select (or allow the computer to select) six numbers between one and 59. Players must check a box on their lottery card, which indicates whether they’d like to receive payment in a lump sum or in annual payments if they win. Lotto is so popular in New York that people can order home subscriptions to the game.
Take Five is similar to Jersey Cash 5. Numbers is similar to New Jersey’s Pick-3 and Win 4 is similar to Pick-4.
Quick Draw is similar to the version of Keno that many states offer. Players select up to 10 numbers between one and 80. They then choose how much they want to wager and how many draws they want to play. Drawings take place every four minutes. Prizes depend on how many numbers were played and how much was wagered. Pick 10 is almost the same as Quick Draw. Players must wager least $1 and drawings only take place once a day, though. As a result the winnings tend to be larger.
